BIOGRAPHY

Dindy Yokel's 22 years of significant and successful experience in international public relations and marketing formed the basis of the creation in January 1998 of DindyCo, the Miami Beach-based full service firm devoted to national and international clients. Prior to launching her own firm, Ms. Yokel enjoyed an outstanding reputation among clients, peers and the media in New York and Miami for her innovative concepts and total dedication to her clients.

As president and founder of DindyCo, she has fused her corporate and personal philosophies into a system of public relations and marketing services based on six major principals:

Locally, as vice president at Zynyx Marketing Communications, Inc. in Miami , Ms. Yokel managed a team of professionals and was instrumental in new business development and the creation of public relations programs for numerous corporations. Among her key accounts were Cuervo Tequila, Planet Hollywood, Official All Star Cafe, Burger King Corporation, Ocean Bank, Cox Interactive Media, The City of Miami Beach, South Florida Inner-City Games and the Bass Museum of Art.

Prior to joining Zynyx, she was vice president of O'Connell & Goldberg Public Relations in Hollywood , Florida , responsible for creating and implementing local and national marketing and public relations, community relations and crisis communications strategies. Among her clients were Royal Crown Company, Inc., Boston Market, NBC6/WTVJ, The Coffee Beanery, Ermenegildo Zegna and The Ocean Club on Key Biscayne.

In her native New York , Ms. Yokel was Account Supervisor at M. Silver Associates, the city's premier travel and tourism agency. She was responsible for developing and executing international public relations and marketing programs for such clients as the Principality of Monaco; Presidente Inter-Continental Hotels (Mexico); Hershey Entertainment and Resort Company; Walt Disney World Swan Hotel and the Four Seasons Ocean Grand Hotel in Palm Beach.

Throughout her career, Ms. Yokel has developed General and Hispanic market programs for a diverse international clientele including the Casita Maria Hispanic Settlement House ( New York City ); Moet Hennessy-Louis Vuitton (the world's leading purveyor of luxury goods); Elena Benarroch ( Madrid ); Parfums Jacomo, Elizabeth Arden's KL Homme, among others.

Ms. Yokel is a graduate of Syracuse University . She is on the board of the ArtCenter/South Florida and the Arts & Business Council, a member of the South Florida Chapter of Women in Communications, The James Beard Foundation and the International, Food, Wine & Travel Writer's Association. She is also an Executive Committee member of Leave A Legacy (a South Florida-based organization for Planned Giving), a member of the Executive Committee of UFA/KidzCare and an advisory board member of Suited for Success. She is a recipient of numerous Golden Bells Awards, presented annually for excellence in international Travel & Tourism public relations.
